Hi,All,
In ROMS CDL file: frc_rivers.cdl, there are lines defined at river_time:
river_time: units="days since 1992-01-01 00:00:00";
river_time: add_offset = 2448623.
Can someone explain the meaning of "2448623"? Thanks.
Zheng

Re: Model blows up at 1st time step
Thanks, Alazhar,
The grid input file can be correctly applied to ROMS version 3.0. I run version 3.0 using the same grid input file and it gets:
Maximum grid stiffness ratios: rx0 = 5.664869E-01 (Beckmann and Haidvogel)
rx1 = 1.730999E+01 (Haney)
Initial basin volumes: TotVolume = 4 ...

Model blows up at 1st time step
Hi, All,
I am using latest version of ROMS to run a case with one boundary (south). The initial conditions are 0 for seal level and velocities and climatological data for TS. The external forces include winds, heat fluxes, and rivers. Along the open boundary, the boundary file provides the sea ...

ROMS particle trajectory setup
Hello all,
I am running ROMS particle trajectory. The particles are initially released near the bottom and I would like to limit particles move without change of sigma-coordinater. From the input file, the option "T" is used to controlled float trajectory type. When T=1, it is neutral density 3D ...
