Hi,
ROMS seems only accept the longitude and latitude of monotonous increasing. If you provide the latitude like [30 29 28 27 26 25] instead of [25 26 27 28 29 30], the weird min/max values above appear.

The atmospheric forcing variables are from NCEP2. As long as I turn on the BULK_FLUXES, it blows up at first step. No nans in the forcing file. However, I tryed the analytical values, it works ok.

I checked the orthogonality of my grid, the results is not good.
Should I use curvilinear grid carefully, and just use the land masking?

I try to produce a fan-shaped grid with seagrid, but I doubt that the orthogonality of the grid affects the calculation. I'm not sure whether the curvilinear orthogonal grid is proper.

The global attributes are too long, and I want concise ones in the NETCDF files.

In Linux-ifort.mk file, I didn't set USE_MPI and USE_MPIF90.
I have read the FAQ, but I don't how to set them.
