Forcing data in .log file is different from .nc file

#1 Unread post by Hanq »

Dear users,
This is some informations in my .log file, but it is different from that in my input file.

For example, I checket the minimum of surface heat flux is -99.99w/m-2 in my input forcing .nc file, but here is -2.50914436E-05.It is also different for other variables.
Does anyone know what's wrong with my modeling?
Thanks very much!

Did you set a _FillValue of -99.99 by chance?

Dear Kate,

The range of surface heat flux is -99.99~230 in the whole domain for 12 months. I never give a _FillValue. It is the same to other variables.

ROMS is then dividing by (rho0*Cp) to get the units it uses internally.

Dear Kate,
Thanks very much for your explaination so patient! I am looking forward to using ROMS well and discussing with everyone here.
Thanks again!
