ROMS-SWAN Coupling in COAWST

Hi,
We are trying to run a coupled model of SWAN and ROMS using the latest COAWST version.
The Inlet test case worked fine, but trying to run an own coupled setup the exchange doesn't work.
At startup, both SWAN and ROMS exchange informations, but as the computations progress both models run concurrently without exchange. Whether ROMS or SWAN reach the coupling timestamp first does not make a difference.
My colleague had a similar problem: when SWAN reached the coupling timestamp first it proceeded as if coupling was not activated, but when ROMS reached the coupling stamp first it waited till SWAN caught up.
We do not know where the problem might be (I suggest in front of the screen). I would be very grateful for any hint.
