It looks to me the seagrid package does not give exact boundary to roms grid file. Say if we set the west boundary to 90E in the sea grid boundary input file, we expect the fist colomn lon_psi is 90E, but seagrid output is another value.
Does anybody mention this before or it's my mistake somewhere?
Does seagrid give the correct boundary to ROMS grid file?
Re: Does seagrid give the correct boundary to ROMS grid file?
It's one of the dirty little secrets in Seagrid. The boundary you provide it goes through the outer rho boundary image points, not where a wall would be.

I am wondering does the masking on the boundary rho points work as regular or not? Say if I masked one boundary rho point at southern boundary, but unmasked the point just next to it. When I impose tidal forcing at the southern boundary, will it reach the internal point?kate wrote:It's one of the dirty little secrets in Seagrid.
