The registration deadline for the 2012 ROMS/TOMS User Workshop is approaching. This is a reminder that registration is open until June 1, 2012 and abstracts for oral presentations and posters are due by August 31, 2012. To register, please log into the ROMS website and fill out the workshop

So far less than 20 attendees have offered to give oral presentations and only 5 plan to bring a poster. The ROMS workshop is a fantastic place to confer with other ROMS users and presenting your work is the best way to initiate collaboration. We encourage some of the Brazilian attendees to present their work in some way, even if it's in its infancy. Posters are usually a good medium to present preliminary results. Often the most interesting presentations at ROMS workshops focus on the issues a user is having with their application more than the results.
The hotel Windsor Atlântica requires a definitive attendance count by June 1, 2012. We have to pay for all the logistics related to the conference room and services.
