The sensitivity to state variable or initial variables is simply the output of adjoint model. As I know, the sensitivity to wind stress is not straightforward and requires operator P which transforms forcing to its representation on the state vector. Could anyone give me more details about the elements of P so that I can construct it more reasonably. Thank you very much!
