Halogen Transport Modelling

Dear All,

I am beginner and I am curious to know if ROMS have module for halogen transport modeling so that sea to air flux of halogens could be estimated?

The another question What will be the problem if ROMS would be used for global Ocean modeling? If its possible then with how fine resolution?

ROMS has passive tracers which you could assign to halogen, but you'd have to add the air-sea fluxes yourself. I haven't heard of anyone doing that.

For global modeling, at least the myroms code does a bad job of maintaining deep water masses. Don't do it.
